    Malaysia owns among the gorgeous islands in the whole world, namely Langkawi, The Isles of Legends, situated in the state of Kedah, which also consists of a cluster of 99 islands. Tourists from local and over the world came to experience their best moment here. 

   The island is so popular with its capativating beaches, giving the tourists the best view from Pantai Cenang, Pantai Buray Bay and Pantai Kok. The waters around the island are crystal clear and rich with world of marine life, suits fir activities like snorkeling and scuba diving.

   Like many legends from other state of the country, Langkawi is famous with its own legend, about a village maiden named Mahsuri, who was wrongly accused for adultery and then it was said that she cursed Langkawi would not prosper for seven generations.

  Besides that, Langkawi is also popular with its Kuah town. Many tourists would live to shop there as it gives them almost everything they need and also goid facilities for travel. Other place of interest is like Telaga Tujuh, a series of waterfalls which is an ideal place for picnickers or family picnics.

  

   Among the most interesting places in Langkawi is also a place called Langkawi Book Village. Only twelve place existed in the world like such as this place. Langkawi Crocodile Farm, which nurtured about 1000 crocodiles. For animal lovers, especially sea creatures, you might find the Underwater World located in Pantai Cenang and the most exquisite more than 5000 fish live at there. You may walk through a glass tunnel and watch the sea creatures swimming on top of you freely.

   There are lots of fascinating places in this world but ad Malaysian, Langkawi with its beauties will never let us down and all we need is just to have a spirit to explore and enjoy with God's creation.

                     My bosom friend and classmate, Emilia, came from a large extends family. She was of Chinese and Malay blood. People of such heritage are described as "Baba" or "Peranakan." Theirs was a loving family. There were two married sons and two unmarried daughters. The sons, together with their wives and children, lived in a huge bungalow with their parents. The house was always alive and full of laughter. The family also very traditional and had great respect for their ancestors.
                     The parents were greatly revered by all the other members of the of the family. The children were obedient and filial and never argued with their parents. They were a close-knit family in which members of the family of helped each other in times of difficulty.
                     However, the family was also very particular about certain practices and superstitious beliefs prevailed. No members of the family could give each other sharp instruments like needles, knifes or scissors. They believed that this would cause quarrels between the giver and the receiver. The family also ub==instructed that nobody was allowed to sweep the house after sunset because this would cause family warmth and love to be swept out of the home.
                     On the eve if Lunar New Year, the children were not permitted to sleep until they had ushered in the new year at the stroke of midnight fir the deities bestrowed most blessing on those they met first. On the day a son got married, he and his spouse were each made to sweep a large of orange into the threshold of the house.

However, there are always two sides to a coin. This is because having a pet has its disadvantages such as diseases, allergies, expensive and nuisance to neigjbours.

    Firstly, pets can be carriers of fatal diseases such as H5N1 virus or bird flu. This lethal virus can be trasmitted to other animals and even human beings. Some animals can cause allergy to owners especially children. Researchers have proven that can affect anyone of age. In fact, a person who is allergic to cats fur can develop asthma. To make things worse, children or people tend to kiss their pets and encourage the pets to lick their faces.

    It is not cheap to buy and maintain a pet. A good breed costs a expensive. A Germany Shepherd puppy cost between RM3000-RM3500. The expense do not stop there. They need a good diet. A packet of 'Friskies' cause more than our regular food. Don't forget the veterinary visits that cause more than our visits in clinic. You must to spend between RM700-RM800 a month for your pet.
    
    Finally, pets can be quite annoying to neighbours. The incessant mewing of cats may affects the peace. Consequently, the neighbours who could support and help us in time of need may end up being the worst of enemies.
   
    Keeping a pet its advantages. However, one should consider the disadvantages as well before deciding to keep a pet.

       Friendship is like the two rings that have different shapes but can combined with a very strong sense. Friendship is just a word but it has a deep meaning we'll feel it when actually find and continued friend in a life.

      Friendship has always been an oasis when we experience sadness. Friendship is always a joy to be complem. A day without friends is very strange and months friends are very painful.

      True friends  will always be misses and talks will continue to be memorable. It is also easy to get a rich friend but hard getting a forever friend because a true friend is not for a reason.

    A cat is very sensitive creature and dislike water. Hence, bathing a cat is a laborius task and if not done properly, you may end up being wet yourself.

    First, take a basin of warm water and a bottle of cat shampoo. Then, slowly pour some water on the cat's body. Make sure you hold the cat properly as it tends to wriggle and may even scratch you as it dislikes water. It is advisable for you to get help from another person.

    Then, lather the shampoo on the cat's body. Move your hands in circular motions. The cat will enjoy this. You have to be very careful  when washing the cat's face. You definitely do not want the soap to get into its eyes. Next, wash away the shampoo with warm water. Ensure that there is no soap residue on the cat's fur. After that, take a clean towel and wipe the cat dry. Finally, use a mild hair dryer and a clean comb to groom the cat.

     I assure you that you will be satisfied with the outcome. The cat will look clean and fresh.
